Creating a Complete Smile
Too many people with damaged or missing teeth do not realize the number of options available to them to restore their smile.
Bridges and crowns are an effective solution for many. These appliances differ from dentures in that they are a fixed, permanent solution that can only be removed by a dentist.
Do I Need a Bridge or Crown?
If you are curious about bridges or crowns, consult your dental professional. They will be most likely to recommend these solutions to achieve one or more of the following:
- Cover an implant.
- Replace a large filling when there isn’t enough remaining tooth.
- Cover a damaged or discolored tooth.
- Protect a weak tooth from a fracture.
- Restore a damaged tooth.
What is a Dental Crown?
This is a tooth-shaped cap that adheres to the top of a tooth or dental implant, helping to strengthen and protect the tooth. Crowns are an effective solution for large cavities, among other things. We carry a wide array of crown materials, like metal or porcelain. Your dental professional will select the one that works best for you.
What is a Dental Bridge?
Missing teeth can be permanently replaced with a dental bridge, a fixture that joins adjacent teeth. In some cases, the natural tooth structure of remaining teeth will need to be reduced for a proper fit. The dentist will prop up the appliance using your remaining teeth. This fixture is sometimes called a partial denture.
